Box Residence
What do
you do with a nearly new modern house, lifeless except for
its bay views?
Our client felt excitement when purchasing a newly re-built
nod to the classic modern box. It was all about open and closed
cubes of space stacked upon one another. Pure white with a
cold stone floor, it needed a pulse.

We worked into a color and texture palette – a group
of sea-like greens and blues punctuated by sun-drenched reds
and golds. Plaster walls for warmth, mohair, chenille, leather
and wool for the senses.
There
was no place for casual dining, therefore a "View Lounge"
bar was designed and built of glass mosaics on the top along
with 3 colors of concrete and cherry wood for the base.
Located
in the heart of Silicon Valley, this home now provides a place
to unwind and relax as well as an environment to get energized.
